About The conference
Computational Intelligence is an emerging approach to computing which mimics the remarkable ability of the human mind to reason and learn in an environment of uncertainty and imprecision. The scientific goal of computational intelligence is to understand the principles that make intelligent behavior possible in natural or artificial systems. The major constituents of Computational Intelligent techniques are Artificial Neural Networks, Fuzzy logic and Evolutionary Computation. Apart from the above, the other popular approaches are Swarm Intelligence and Artificial Immune System which can be seen as a part of evolutionary computing. They have wide applicability in areas ranging from pattern recognition, decision making, control and optimization.
The IEEE Student Branch of Kalasalingam University is organizing the IEEE International Conference on “Intelligent Techniques in Control, Optimization and Signal Processing” INCOS’17 during it is the seventh conference in the series of INCOS conducted from 2010 onwards. The conference will bring together top researchers in the broad area of Intelligent systems. The conference will provide an opportunity to share and exchange ideas on current research on Artificial Neural Networks, Fuzzy logic and Evolutionary Computation and their potential applications to control, optimization and signal processing. The conference includes paper presentation, keynote address and invited talk by experts from industries and leading academic institutions.
